Velxen Funding and Trading wallets: what is the difference?: Velxen blog cover with the Velxen logo in amber on a dark background

Every Velxen account has two wallets that share one login: the Funding wallet and the Trading wallet. Keeping them apart makes it clear which money is ready for trading and which is for deposits, withdrawals and P2P.

Funding wallet

  • Coins you buy on P2P arrive here.
  • Deposits from other wallets arrive here.
  • Withdrawals and P2P sales are paid from here.

Trading wallet

  • Spot trading, convert, margin and futures use this balance.
  • Orders you place on the Trade page lock coins from here until they fill or you cancel.

Moving coins between them

Open Assets, choose Transfer, pick the coin, the direction (Funding → Trading or Trading → Funding) and the amount. Transfers between your own wallets are free and instant.

A typical day

Buy USDT on P2P (it lands in Funding), transfer it to Trading, buy a coin on the spot market, and when you want cash again, sell back to USDT, transfer it to Funding and sell it on P2P for a bank transfer.

This article is for education only and is not financial advice. Crypto prices can rise and fall sharply; only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Trade on Velxen390+ coins, a 0.10% fee and escrow-protected P2P.
